Property Tax Payment

In Panama most of the newly constructed properties have an exception from the property tax that can fluctuate between 20 and 5 years depending on the date the construction permit was issued. Nevertheless, this exception applies to the improvements (construction) only not to the land were the house is built on. These are annual taxes that are payable in 3 installments (April, August and December).

These payments have to be made in Panama in cash or certified checks from a local bank. Pillar Solutions has a system in place were we can make the payments on your behalf so you can rest assure that your taxes are been paid on a timely matter avoiding any late payment fees.
